For 2011 the Expedition is available in four trims: XL, XLT, Limited, and King Ranch. Every Expedition is powered by a SOHC 5.4-liter V-8 that is rated at 310 horsepower and 365 pound-feet of torque. A six-speed automatic transmission is standard equipment. It is available with either rear-wheel drive or electronically engaged four-wheel drive. A Class III trailer hitch and trailer sway control are standard. The Expedition offers towing capacities in the 9000-pound range. Safety equipment includes front and side-impact air bags, three-row head-protection curtain air bags, anti-lock braking, and electronic stability control with anti-rollover technology.

2012 Ford Explorer

Redesigned last year, the Ford Explorer carries over with minimal changes for 2012. A six-speed automatic transmission with SelectShift is now standard on all trim levels, while a four-cylinder Ecoboost engine is available on every model. Additionally, XLT trims are now equipped with a USB port and the SYNC communications and entertainment system.

2011 Ford Explorer

The 7-passenger Explorer is available in both front- and four-wheel drive configurations, with a choice of three trim levels: Base, XLT and Limited. A new 290-hp 3.5-liter Ti-VCT V6 engine and six-speed automatic transmission (with available SelectShift manual mode) are standard on all trims. A 237-hp 2.0-liter turbocharged Ecoboost four-cylinder engine with direct fuel injection will be available on front-wheel drive models, while 4x4 models get a new user-friendly terrain management system. Explorer Base trims are well-equipped with 17-inch wheels, air conditioning, cruise control, MP3 capability and MyFord driver connect technology; XLT trims add 18-inch alloy wheels, fog lamps, satellite radio and a reverse sensing system. Limited trims are further outfitted with 20-inch wheels, dual-zone automatic climate control, heated front seats, leather upholstery, intelligent access with push-button start, HD digital radio and the SYNC communications and entertainment system. Standard safety features on every Explorer include AdvanceTrac with Roll Stability Control and new Curve Control function, traction control, anti-lock disc brakes and a tire pressure monitor, as well as Ford's MyKey owner control feature and six airbags. New for 2011, the industry's first second-row inflatable seatbelts are available on XLT and Limited models; additional options include a Blind Spot Information System (BLIS) with cross-traffic alert, Active Park Assist and adaptive cruise control with collision warning.

For 2010, the Ford Explorer carries over with minor adjustments to standard equipment and a restructured ordering strategy. A manual-folding third-row seat is now standard on Eddie Bauer trims, providing seating for up to seven passengers. Additionally, all-wheel drive Explorer models are no longer offered in the Eddie Bauer trim level.

2012 Ford Focus

Available as a four-door sedan or five-door hatchback the front-wheel drive Focus is all-new for 2012. Ford offers four trims on the Focus, the S is available on the sedan, the SE, SEL, and Titanium are available on both models. The new high efficiency engine is a 160-hp 2.0-liter inline four-cylinder with twin independent variable camshaft timing (Ti-VCT), direct gasoline injection and E85 capability. It is paired with either a five-speed manual or new six-speed auto-shift manual transmission. The SEL and Titanium trims are only available with the six-speed auto-shift transmission. Six airbags, rear seats with three headrests, anti-lock brakes, electronic stability control, remote keyless entry and power door locks are standard on all series. Available features include Ford's MyKey, SYNC, MyFord Touch, Sirius Satellite Radio, a Sony Premium Audio system, and heated front seats and exterior mirrors.

Now available only as a four-door sedan the front-wheel drive Focus includes only minor changes for 2011. Ford offers four trims on the Focus, the S, SE, sporty SES, and luxury SEL. The engine is a 140-hp 2.0-liter inline four-cylinder available with a five-speed manual or four-speed automatic transmission. For 2011 the SEL trim is only available with the four-speed auto transmission. The interior features an available SYNC system that allows the driver to synchronize mobile electronic devices such as mp3 players and cell phones. Four airbags are standard, and rear seats include headrests. Ford's MyKey, Message Center, anti-lock brakes, electronic stability control, remote keyless entry and power door locks are standard on all series.
